Cleveland Clinic Centennial Campaign Impact Report

Client: Cleveland Clinic Philanthropy Institute

Deliverables:

- 3 data visualizations for publishing in the 2022 Centennial Campaign Impact Report magazine

Tools used: P5.js, Illustrator, RAWgraphs, Excel

I collaborated with the Cleveland Clinic Philanthropy Institute to create three unique printed data visualizations that celebrate Cleveland Clinic's 100 year anniversary and reaching their 2 billion dollar fundraising goal over the past 2 years. Data collection, analysis and creative partnership were all provided by the Cleveland Clinic Philanthropy Institute.

Every Dollar:

This visualization shows the accumulation of donations by donor size from 2011 to 2022 as well as the distribution of funds across 4 different areas of focus. Key fundraising moments are highlighted across the timeline.

To create this visualization, I used RAWgraphs

to measure the area chart flows, and designed and built the visualization using Adobe Illustrator.

Every Where:

The second visualization tells the story of where the donors are located, both domestically using bubbles and internationally using bars. The visual demonstrates how far reaching fundraising efforts are and which key areas have the highest number of donors.

I used P5.js to code the visualization, and brought the SVG file into Illustrator for layout and design.

Every One:

The third visualization is a pixel tapestry of donors. Each individual pixel shows an individual donor, color coded by their contribution range. The overall color story highlights the fact that over 70% of donors fall into the $100 or less range. Smaller donations have a large and lasting impact all together.

I used P5.js to code the visualization, and brought the SVG file into Illustrator for layout and design.
